Building Volume_
Called the Switch House the new added volume brings "a striking combination of the raw and the refined".

Facade Material_
The facade use brick to match the surface of the existing structure, while creating something radically new by using a perforated brick lattice which is capable of create dynamic light conditions in different time of the day. (interior lights glow in the evening).
The openings on the facade (windows, doors) are not conventional, but appear more like cuts on the building skin.
